Mr. Kamal El Makhloufi

Mr. Kamal El Makhloufi serves as the President of DWB, Africa and is our main liaison for economic development and trade. Mr. El Makhloufi also serves as the High Patronage of Merchants and Economic Operators of Côte d’Ivoire (HPCO-CI). In this role, he acts as the association’s official representative, advocating before partners, defending the association’s interests, and spearheading efforts to secure funding for strategic objectives. With extensive experience in commerce and the B2B sector, Mr. El Makhloufi has built a reputation as an opportunity developer and initiator, driving economic growth and fostering partnerships.

In 2023, Mr. El Makhloufi was recognized with the award for Best Economic Development Institution, underscoring his impactful contributions to Côte d’Ivoire’s commercial landscape. As a member of the International Media Property and Trademarks organization and Deputy Director for Africa within the International Organization for Economic, Social, and Humanitarian Development, he continues to expand his influence and support regional advancement. His leadership journey includes roles such as Chief of Economic and Financial Partnerships, Traveling Ambassador, and President of the Development and Research Committee for the Network of European Expert Chambers, West African department.

Mr. El Makhloufi has also served as Chairman of the Federation of Merchants, Economic Operators, Companies, Artisans, and Crop Producers of Côte d’Ivoire, a role that reflects his dedication to uniting and empowering diverse economic stakeholders. Fluent in both French and English, Mr. El Makhloufi leverages his international experience to drive sustainable growth, innovation, and economic opportunities across West Africa.
